A revitalized and reloaded men's soccer roster got off to a great start in Thursday's game against Valley Forge Military College.

The Mustangs scored five total goals, eventually sealing the game in a 5-2 win.

Freshmen Christian Djilo (Spring-Ford) led the mustangs with three goals on six shots, enough to get him named the Mustang Player of the Week. Thursday was Djilo's first start as a Mustang, making his achievement even greater.

Chakubuta Tuhenya (FR, Springfield) and Elias Gehman (SO, Christopher Dock) each had a goal and an assist in the big win.

The Mustangs will host their first home game on Saturday against Lehigh Carbon Community College. That game will take place at the Ukranian American soccer complex.
