Recap: Trio Keys Sweep of Luzerne

BLUE BELL, Pa. - Anna Morgan, Colby Shackelford and Courtney Gill combined for 19 kills to help lead the women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-14) victory over Luzerne County Community College on Tuesday evening at the Central Campus.

First-year setter Victoria Biggins played a big part in the effort with 22 assists, while Gill recorded 7 aces and the team's lone block. Emma Hagel chipped in 4 digs as the Mustangs improved to 7-1 in Region XIX.

"Good effort tonight," Head Coach Rita Rivera said. "We have a few players dealing with some bumps and bruises, but they continue to battle each night."

Montgomery is now 7-2 overall and 7-2 in the EPAC.

The Mustangs visit Bucks County Community College on Thursday for a 7 pm match.
