Women's Volleyball Goes One and One at Tri-Match

Media, Pa. � The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women�s volleyball team went one and one in Saturday�s tri-match versus Delaware County Community College and Harrisburg Area Community College.

The Mustangs lost their first game of the day to the Harrisburg Area Community College Hawks in two sets, both ending in a score of 19-25. Brianna Musselman led in kills with three, followed by Sharnae Johnson with two. Steph Angelucci led the team in assists with seven, while sister Mel Angelucci led the team with 11 digs.

Against the Delware County Community College Phantoms, the Mustangs faired better, going 25-16 and 25-15 to win the match in two. Emily Mayer led the team in kills and service aces with eight. Mel Angelucci and Corey Trego also notched three aces apiece. Steph Angelucci led the team in assists with five.

Next the Mustangs will travel to Luzerne County Community College on Monday, Sept. 27.
