Women's soccer traveled to Northampton Community College on Thursday in an important match agains the EPAC Champion Spartans. In their last matchup, the Spartans scored a goal in the second overtime to win 1-0. Needless to say, the Mustangs were looking to get some revenge.
However, this was not the Mustangs' day. 20 minutes into the game, the Spartans had built up a two goal lead. That lead would continue to expand, until the Spartans had built up a 6-0 lead and finished with a win.
For the Mustangs, this loss means that they must win the rest of their games in order to be NJCAA Region XIX playoff eligible. That streak will have to start against Bucks County Community College at home on Tuesday.
