Women's Soccer Gets Back On Track With Win Against Raritan Valley

The women's soccer team had suffered their fourth loss in a row on Saturday, but they weren't deterred. The Mustangs knew that if they played hard and played together, they could pull out a win at The Proving Grounds against Raritan Valley on Tuesday.

Sure enough, the tenacity of the Mustang showed when Raritan Valley scored first and early. The Musangs answered immediately when Dre Meyers (FR, Springfield) scored two goals in two minutes. Abigail Nice (FR, Christopher Dock) added a third goal in the 28th minute giving the Mustangs a 3-1 lead at half.

That lead would stay at 3-1 for the remainder of the game.

The Mustangs break a 3-game losing streak and move to 2-4 on the season. They'll get another opportunity to build momentum on Thurdsday against Harrisburg Area Community College.
