TOMS RIVER, NJ - Ocean County College scored four early goals en route to a 6-0 shutout win over the Mustangs in Region XIX soccer action on Thursday.
Taylor Nicholson, who started in goal for the Mustangs, played through a hamstring injury. She was eventually replaced by Heather Spotts. The two goalkeepers faced 17 shots from the Vikings.
The Mustangs dropped to 0-7 on the season, while the Vikings of Ocean County College improved to 10-2.
The Mustangs are back in action Saturday at 1 PM at Raritan Valley Community College.
