Women's Soccer Falls to Centurions
Newtown, Pa. � The Bucks County Community College Centurions prevailed over the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs in a hard fought 2-1 victory Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010.
The Mustangs got off to a rocky start after being on the road and found themselves in a two goal hole by the end of the first half. At half time the team regrouped with the help of Head Coach Tim McNally to start the second half with a new found fire.
Dominating both field position and ball possession, the Mustangs outshot the Centurions 7-2 and were finally rewarded with a goal at 82:55 by sophomore Jeannine Mason. The goal sent the Mustangs into an offensive frenzy but the Centurions were able to hold on to their 2-1 lead up until the final horn.
The Mustangs are now 1-4 overall, 1-3 NJCAA RXIX Division III. Next the Mustangs women�s soccer team will travel to Reading Area Community College on Saturday, Sept. 18. Game time is 12:00 p.m.
