Mustangs Stumble at Bucks
Newtown, Pa. – The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women’s basketball team lost 46-66 to the Bucks County Community College Centurions Tuesday Jan. 19, 2010.
It was an off night for the Mustangs who beat the Centurions 70-65 earlier in the season. Right out of the tip-off it was clear that Mustangs were in trouble. The team went 18 for 71 in the field while the Centurions were able to capitalize on the Mustangs’ offensive imprecision.
Mustangs high scorers for the evening were Mercedes Harris (Norristown) with 14 points and Janay Winston (Phoenixville) with 10. The team looks to get their shooting accuracy back on track for Thursday’s home game versus the Valley Forge Military College Trojans. Tip-off is 6:00 p.m.
The Mustangs are now 9-5 overall and 7-3 in the EPCC.
