Top-Ranked Jersey Blues Defeat Mustangs
Blue Bell, Pa. – The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women’s softball team lost 0-13 and 0-12 to the number one ranked Jersey Blues of Brookdale Community College Thursday, Apr. 8, 2010.
Offensive highlights for the Mustangs include a hit apiece by Janay Winston (Phoenixville), Katelyn Mullen (Collegeville), Samantha Reeves (North Penn), and Melissa Alpuche (Lansdale Catholic).
The Mustangs softball team is now 4-10 overall (0-6 NJCAA Region XIX Division III). Next the team will travel to Atlantic Cape Community College for a double header on Saturday, Apr. 10. Game time is 12:00 p.m.
