Mustangs Drop Two Games to Cougars
Blue Bell, Pa. – The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women’s softball team lost 0-11 and 3-16 to the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars in a double header on Saturday, Apr. 3, 2010.
Mustangs’ offensive highlights include two hits by Katelyn Martin (Boyertown), two hits and two RBIs by Janay Winston (Phoenixville), and triple and two walks by Samantha Reeves (North Penn). On defense, the Mustangs pitching staff gave up 30 walks in total.
The Mustangs softball team is now 4-4 overall (0-2 NJCAA Region XIX Division III). Next the team will host Conference opponent Northampton Community College on Tuesday, Apr. 6 at 3:30 p.m.
