The Mustangs men's soccer team came from behind to win 3-1 over the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars Tuesday.
The Mustangs got off to a rough start, allowing the Cougars to score roughly 25 minutes into the first half of the game.
Down 0-1 going into the second half, and with dark skies looming, the Mustangs knew they had to put it all out on the field. The team rallied to pressure the Cougars' defense. After a barrage of shots, freshman forward Anthony Defracesco finally found the back of the net for the Mustangs.
A few minutes later, Tymere Davis slipped the ball to Sean Robinson, who knocked in the go-ahead goal, putting the Mustangs up 2-1. Ten minutes later Jon Prasky nailed in the Mustangs' assurance goal for the 3-1 win.
"I hope this game served as a lesson for our guys," commented Head Coach Matt Giordano. "I think we took Lehigh too lightly and were suprised to find ourselves down a goal. However, our comeback win shows great determination and character. I am extremely proud of them for that win."
