Mustangs Claim Regular Season EPAC Championship Against the Routed Spartans

On Tuesday your Mustangs Women's Basketball team faced off against the Jersey Blues of Brookdale Community College, but unfortunately fell by a score of 61-46. However, your Men's Basketball team squared off against the Spartans of Northampton Community College and defeated them by a score of 58-50 to claim the regular season EPAC Championship!

In this dynamic game between two titans of Eastern Pennsylvania basketball Nigel Cooke took control of the game and led the Mustangs in multiple statistics! Primarily, Cooke led the Mustangs in scoring, draining 19 points throughout the night! Jake Schalki and Matt Compas followed suit and scored an additional 11 and 9 points each! Cooke also led the team in steals alongside Will Anderson who each had 2 steals. Matt Compas and Noah Baker tied the team in assists each lending their helping hands on 2 occasions. 

In this defense focused game Jake Schalki's 12 team leading rebounds helped secure the victory! Jason Price followed with an additional 9 rebounds, while Matt Compas and Jay Joseph both secured an additional 7 rebounds! 6 of Joseph's rebounds and 5 of Schalki's occurred while on offense ensuring the win for your Mustangs!

Also our very own Jake Schalki earned a Double-Double scoring 11 points, and garnering 12 rebounds!
