The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs defeated the JV Bison squad of Bucknell University 11-0 and 10-0 in a double header Saturday.
In game one the Mustangs dominated, earning an 11-0 victory over the Bison after five innings of play. The winning pitcher was Matt Smith. Tyler Phifer went 2-for-2 for the Mustangs, notching one run, one walk and three RBI's.
Game two was a repeat of the first, with the Mustangs winning 10-0 over the Bison. The winning pitcher was Wade Zweizig. Eric Lewandowski went 3-for-3 with one run, one walk and four RBI's.
Also noteworthy was the batting for the Mustangs, who went 12-for25 and averaged .480 as a unit.
