Baseball Splits a Double Header with LaSalle

Blue Bell, Pa. - The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs baseball team went one and one against the LaSalle University JV team Saturday.

The Mustangs took the first match up 10-0, earning a mercy rule victory in six innings. Winning pitcher Jim Heilman pitched a perfect game with ten strikeouts. In the second game the LaSalle team was able to edge by the Mustangs with a 5-3 victory. Losing pitcher Tyler Guentter had success on the mound, striking out 13 batters in six innings. Ron Levan went 3-for-4 with a double and Pete Marino went 2-for-2 with three RBIs.
