Montgomery County Community College Baseball Places Four on First Team All-Conference
Montgomery County Community College Baseball is proud to announce that four student-athletes have been named First Team All-Conference following an outstanding 2026 season. Joshua Camacho, Nathan Woodbury, Mike Strechay, and Brett Minnich each earned the honor after playing key roles in the Mustangs' success this spring.
Mike Strechay delivered one of the most dominant offensive seasons in the conference, batting .437 with 55 hits, 48 runs scored, 42 RBIs, and seven home runs in 33 games. Strechay also added 18 stolen bases while posting a .683 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage. On the mound, he contributed 47 strikeouts across 47 innings pitched.
Brett Minnich anchored the middle of the lineup with tremendous power production, finishing the season with a .408 batting average, eight home runs, 18 doubles, and 52 RBIs. Minnich posted a team-high .776 slugging percentage and consistently delivered in key moments throughout the year.
Joshua Camacho was a dynamic presence both offensively and defensively for the Mustangs. The infielder hit .370 with 50 hits, 39 runs scored, 29 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases while recording a .445 on-base percentage. Camacho's speed and versatility helped spark the offense all season long.
Nathan Woodbury showcased his all-around athleticism with a strong two-way campaign. At the plate, Woodbury batted .343 with five home runs, 24 RBIs, 42 runs scored, and 17 stolen bases while compiling an impressive .525 on-base percentage and .626 slugging percentage. On the mound, he also recorded two wins and 30 strikeouts in 30 innings pitched.
"These recognitions are a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and leadership these student-athletes displayed throughout the season," said Montgomery County Community College Baseball Head Coach Mike Fitzgerald. "We are extremely proud of Mike, Brett, Josh, and Nathan for representing our program at such a high level."
