Brett Minnich Named EPAC Player of the Week After Dominant Offensive Performance
Blue Bell, Pa. — Montgomery County Community College sophomore infielder Brett Minnich has been named Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Player of the Week following an outstanding stretch at the plate.
Minnich delivered one of the most impressive offensive performances of the season, hitting an incredible .667 (14-for-21) across five games. He recorded five doubles, four home runs, and drove in 23 runs while scoring 12 times, powering Montgomery County's offense during a highly productive week.
In addition to his 14 hits, Minnich showed patience at the plate by drawing three walks and consistently producing in key situations. His combination of power and timely hitting played a major role in the Mustangs' success, as the team secured multiple conference wins during the stretch.
Montgomery County posted victories over Bergen Community College (19-8), Salem Community College (24-6, 24-14), and RCSJ Cumberland (10-6), with Minnich serving as a catalyst in each contest. His performance included multiple extra-base hits and run-producing at-bats that helped the Mustangs build and maintain momentum throughout the week.
