Mustangs Claim EPAC Players of the Week

Rachel Dunn led the Mustang's to three wins this week. In the win against the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, (65-37), Dunn put up 10 points and collected 9 total rebounds (4 offensive, 5 defensive). She produced a double-double, with 16 points and 13 rebounds (6 offensive, 7 defensive), as MCCC defeated Rowan College of South Jersey-Cumberland, 88-47. To finish out the week, the sophomore guard improved her numbers against Passaic County Community College. She contributed another double-double, 26 points and 15 rebounds (8 offensive, 7 defensive), as the Mustangs outscored the Panthers, 79-48. MCCC improved to 16-2 for the season.

 

The Mustang's men's team also tallied three wins this week, behind Sean Emfinger. The sophomore guard helped MCCC defeat Atlantic Cape Community College, 88-79, as he put up 22 points. Emfinger contributed 15 points in the Mustang's victory over DII College of Southern Maryland, 68-39. MCCC continued their winning ways, as they defeated Passaic County Community College, 84-71, where Emfinger accounted for 22 points. MCCC's overall record is now 13-2.
