Mustangs Stay Perfect and Improve to 4-0
BLUE BELL, PA. – The Montgomery County Community College baseball team stayed red hot at the plate, scoring 16 runs to take down visiting Middlesex County Community College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Mustangs stayed hot at the plate scoring 16 runs highlighted by a 2 run Homerun by Morgan D'Amico. Montgomery took the lead in the bottom of the 1st inning and never trailed throughout the ball game. Multiple Mustangs got in on the action. D'Amico went 2-5 from the plate and drove in 4 RBI's. Hunter Hamilin went 3-5 from the plate, including 1 double. Mike Kelly was able to draw 4 walks on his way to scoring 2 runs for the Mustangs. Bradan Mallon had 2 doubles and scored 3 runs on the afternoon.
The offensive production would help the Mustangs go up 14-3 after 5 innings. Tony Xanthopolous threw a solid 5 innings before turning into over to George Jacobs in relief. Jacobs and Jake Trader would each pitch 2 innings as the Mustangs cruised to a 16-7 win.
