The Montgomery County Community College men's soccer team won 3-2 in its EPAC regular season contest vs. Northampton Community College.
Montgomery County Community College fought back after Northampton's Matthew Doyle scored a goal 4 minutes into the game. Northampton would stifle the Mustangs offensive attack for most of the first half before Elias Gehman would break through and score the equalizer in the 38th minute of the first half.
The Mustangs would look to seize momentum early in the second half as they looked to be more aggressive on offense. Sophomore Frank Dadparvar would find the back of the net in the 56th minute and Edward Mincarelli would tack on another goal scoring off a beautiful assist from Elias Gehman in the 66th minute to give the Mustangs a commanding 3-1 lead.
Northampton made a late push as Andrew Seymor scored to get Northampton within 1 but they would get no closer as the Mustangs held on for the 3-2 victory.
The Mustangs (7-4) will look to continue their momentum as they face off against Delaware County Community College on Saturday at 12 pm.
