Blue Bell, PA: The Mustangs defeated the Phantoms of Delaware County Community College. The Mustangs were behind early on but were able to tie the game on a goal from Ayoub Mouhou (Norristown/Daniel Boone) at 32 minutes. The Mustangs were able to go ahead at the half with a goal from Albert Ortiz (Norristown/Norristown) and an assist from David Webster (Warrington/Upper Dublin). Ayoub Mouhou netted his second goal on the day with an assist from Sage Gary (Philadelphia/Roxboro) to keep the Mustangs ahead to begin the second half. An unfortunate goal got past goal tender Raj Hogan (Lansdale/North Penn to bring the score to 3-2. David Webster scored his second goal of the game. The Mustangs then began to take control of the offense with Renato Saiter-Frios (East Norriton/Rockland) netted the next two goals. Albert Ortiz added another goal and Sammer Eid (Douglasville/Daniel Boone) added the final goal to end game with a 8-2 score.
The Mustangs are now 8-3-1 overall and lead the EPAC 7-1-1. The Mustangs hope to close out the season with a victory at Valley Forge Military College on Monday October 16, 3:30PM
