BLUE BELL, Pa. - New head men's soccer coach Tom Haney has released the Mustangs 2015 schedule, which includes four road games among the team's first six matchups.
Montgomery opens the season on Thursday, Aug. 27 at Lehigh Carbon Community College. A week later, the Mustangs travel to Bethlehem to tackle the Spartans of Northampton Community College.
Haney's team makes its home debut on Tuesday, Sept. 8 vs. Harrisburg Area Community College.
The Mustangs will play 14 regular season matches, including 13 Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) games (one vs. Div. I Manor College) and one non-conference game with Ocean County College. Speaking of the EPAC, 2014 champion Bucks County Community College host the Mustangs on Thursday, Sept. 17. Two weeks later, the Centurions visit the Central Campus in Blue Bell.
"I'm really looking forward to this season," Haney said. "Every game offers a new challenge, and our players will embrace each challenge and improve as we move forward. The potential is there to do great things and compete within the conference and Region XIX."
Montgomery's men's soccer team finished 8-4-2 overall in 2014 to qualify for postseason play. But the team was ousted by County College of Morris in overtime in the first round of the Region XIX Tournament.
