Baseball Gets Revenge Against Williamson

Tuesday saw another rematch for the baseball team, this time against Williamson College of the Trades. The Mechanics had defeated the Mustangs on a walk-off earlier in the season, so the Mustangs were ready for some revenge.

Montgomery certainly showed it, scoring 9 runs in the very first inning. Williamson attempted to answer with four runs, but the Mustangs put the pressure on dropping 7 more runs in the third inning alone. Finally, the Mechanics elected not to finish the game in fourth inning, giving the Mustangs the win.

Sophomore Luke Deleo (Pope John Paul) led the team with 4 RBI on only 2 H. Frankie Ramirez (FR, Winter Springs) had 3 RBI, also on 2 H.

The Mustangs will take on Middlesex County College on Thursday, a team that they barely edged out earlier in the season.
