In a back-and-forth affair on Tuesday, just when the Mustangs thought they pulled ahead, the Centurions would answer back. Montgomery was ahead 3-1 when Bucks scored two runs in the bottom of the 5th to tie the game. However, thanks to strong pitching from Luke DeLeo the scoring would stop there for the Centurions. The score would remain tied all the way until the 12th inning. In the top of the 12th, the Mustangs' bats came alive, leading to 4 runs, including Will Brownlowe's 3rd RBI. DeLeo would finish the game as strong as he started it, by not allowing any runs in the bottom of the 12th and sealing the game for Montgomery.
The Mustangs improve to 5-6 overall, while the Centurions fall to 1-7. Montgomery is back home on Thursday, when they take on Delaware County Community College at 3:30pm.
Luke Deleo had 11 Ks while only allowing 4 hits
Will Brownlowe had 3 hits (2 doubles) and 3 RBIs
