Mustangs Baseball: Mustangs Lose in Extra Inning

Blue Bell, PA-- The Mustangs competed in close conference conference match up against the Bucks County Community College Centurions Wednesday, April 12th. The Mustangs lost in an extra inning, 15-14, bringing their record to 1-4 and 2-9 overall.

The Mustangs collected 14 runs off their 14 total hits in today's game. Freshman Shortstop, Dan Janoson #5 (Bishop McDevitt High School/ Phys Ed. & Health) also had a solid performance, getting 4 hits and scoring 4 runs.

Following Janoson, Sophomore Pitcher, Nick Mikesic #2 (Perkiomen Valley High School/ Engineering) also had 5 hits and 3 runs. Mikesic also accounted for 5 RBI's. Freshman Right Fielder, Kyle Callahan #24 (Archbishop Carroll High School/ Business Administration) contributed two runs and 2 hits. 

Sophomore Left Fielder, Joseph Stankovics #12 (Boyertown Area SR High School/ Liberal Studies) and Freshman Center Fielder, Ken Bradford (Lighthouse Christian Academy/ Criminal Justice) also had 2 runs each.

The Mustangs now hold a conference record of 1-4 and 2-9 for their overall record. Their next game will be home onTuesday, April 18th at 4:00 p.m. against the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars in a conference event.
