Nanticoke, PA-- The Mustangs were trumped 18-7 in a conference game at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 13th against the Luzerne County Community College Trailblazers
In today's game, the Mustangs were only outhit by the Trailblazers 12-11, but the Mustangs couldn't quite bring in the runs. Only scoring in the top of the fourth for the next three consecutive innings, it still was not enough to make a comeback.
Despite the loss some notable highlights from our Mustangs are as follows: Freshman Center Fielder, Kyle Callahan #24 (Archbishop Carroll High School/ Business Administration) contributed two runs and 2 hits. Sophomore Third Baseman, Nick Mikesic #2 (Perkiomen Valley High School/ Engineering) also had 1 hit and 2 runs.
Freshman Pitcher, #23 Paul Mudrick (Perkiomen Valley High School/ Business Administration) had 2 hits and 1 run.
The Mustangs now hold a conference record of 1-3 and 2-8 for their overall record.
