Two Volleyball Student-Athletes Named to All-Region 1st Team

Miljana Vukoslavovic (SO, Serbia) and Julia Kuneck (FR, John Hallahan) were named to the All-NJCAA Region XIX first team for the sport of Volleyball.

Only the six best student-athletes among the 18 Division III schools in the region receive the honor of being on the All-Region first team. The Mustangs led all schools with two selections.

Kuneck is a fantastic freshman eddition to the team. She led Region XIX in Solo Blocks(69) and currently sits at fifth in the country in that category. Her 17 solo blocks in the five-set match agianst Lackawanna on September 14th is the most by any Mustang in a single game in recent history. She leads the Mustangs in assists with 337.

Vukoslavovic is the sophomore captain from Serbia, who has been integral in the Mustangs' success this season. Her 101 service aces are the most by any NJCAA Division III athlete in the country. She has also bounced in and out of the top ten rankings in several statistical categories, including digs per set (5.57, 5th in the country), service aces per set (1.23, 8th in the country) and kills per set (3.48. 16th in the country).
