All-EPAC teams were announced for men's soccer on Monday. The Mustangs were fortunate enough to grab five spots on both teams during their 8-4 season.
Sophomores Ayoub Mouhou (Daniel Boone), Frank Dadparvar (American School of Valencia) and Luis Cordero (Brick Township) all received first-team honors.
Mouhou is the team's leading goal scorer with 14 goals, despite missing a large part of the season due to an injury. Before he was injured, Mouhou was top five in the country in points and maintained a top 15 position in goals scored.
Dadparvar is a solid centerback who always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. He is also very involved in the offense for a defender, grabbing two goals this season during Mouhou's absence.
Cordero is a defensive midfielder and one of the team's captains. His leadership always makes an impact and he is fantastic at winning and keeping possession of the ball.
Montgomery also had two Mustangs make the All-EPAC second-team.
Freshman Elias Gehman (Christopher Dock) has made an immediate impact on the team in his first year. Gehman leads the team in assists and is second on the team in goals and points.
Sophomore Eric Podrost (Abington) is a centerback and the captain of the defense. Under his leadership, the team is allowing just under two goals per game.
Congratulations to all the All-EPAC team members!
