Rob Childs Hired as Head Women's Volleyball Coach

Blue Bell, PA. Montgomery County Community College Interim Director of Athletics Kelly Dunbar has announced the hiring of head women's volleyball coach Rob Childs. Childs joins the Mustangs for his first year as Head Volleyball Coach after serving as Assistant Coach at Manor College.

"We are very excited to announce Rob Childs as our new head women's volleyball coach," said Dunbar. "Rob has an abundance of experience and will provide the academic and athletic support for our student-athletes. He is extremely energetic and passionate and is committed to building a positive team culture that contributes to the overall development of our student-athletes."

Childs played volleyball during his undergraduate studies at Slippery Rock University where he earned degrees in Health and Physical Education as well as Sports Management. Childs comes from a background of multisport athletics, specializing in volleyball for the past 15 years. When he is not coaching he is teaching Health and Physical Education in the Philadelphia area. Childs is excited to continue his athletic career with Montgomery County Community College and share his background and years of experience with the team.
